Goucher strives to continuously improve the quality of the academic programs and support services provided to its students. The annual assessment process at Goucher College includes the components of assessing institutional effectiveness, student-learning outcomes, and achievement of strategic goals and institutional priorities.
Assessment at Goucher occurs across the campus--at institutional, divisional, and unit levels and across program and functional areas. The Institutional Assessment Team (IAT) is responsible for designing and implementing an ongoing and sustainable institutional assessment process. The Institutional Assessment Plan can be accessed via Goucher’s portal.
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness regularly collects, analyzes, and synthesizes data about the College’s performance in five categories: quality, effectiveness, access, diversity, and efficiency of allocation of resources. A snapshot of these strategic indicators is published on the Goucher portal.
